Transferring through Terminal 4 is designed to be simple and convenient for passengers connecting to their onward flight. Upon leaving the aircraft, please follow the airport signs for Transfers / Transit or ask the nearest information desk for assistance.
Terminal 4 is dedicated to Kuwait Airways and is designed to support a smoother ground experience, including passengers transferring between flights.
Connecting to Your Next Flight
After arrival, proceed to the transfer area or transit counter as directed by airport signage and staff. Please keep your travel documents ready, including your passport, boarding pass, and onward flight details.
Before your journey, make sure you confirm:
Your next flight terminal
Your boarding gate
Your transit time
Your baggage transfer status with your airline
Any visa or entry requirements if you plan to leave the airport

If You Want to Exit the Airport
If you have a long transit time and wish to leave the airport to visit Kuwait, please confirm your visa and immigration requirements before your journey. Passengers who exit the transit area must complete the required immigration procedures and must be eligible to enter Kuwait.
Kuwait Government Online states that the Ministry of Interior provides the official Kuwait e-Visa service for visitors who need to issue a visiting e-Visa.
If your transit time is more than four hours, Kuwait International Airport suggests that passengers may consider leaving the airport to explore tourist places in Kuwait, subject to visa and immigration requirements. If your transit time is less than four hours, passengers are advised to remain at the airport and use available services such as rest areas, shopping, dining, or lounges.

Security Check
Transfer passengers may be required to pass through security screening before entering the departures area or boarding their connecting flight.
To make the security process smoother:
Prepare your hand baggage before reaching the checkpoint.
Place laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and large electronic devices in separate trays when requested.
Place small personal items such as phones, wallets, watches, keys, coins, pens, and belts inside your hand baggage or in the security tray.
Remove metallic items if requested by security staff.
Make sure your hand baggage does not contain prohibited or restricted items.
Keep liquids, aerosols, and gels within the permitted limits and follow airport security instructions.
Any prohibited items may be confiscated and may not be returned. Please review the restricted items list before travelling.

Assistance for Transfer Passengers
Passengers who require additional support may request airport assistance services. Kuwait International Airport lists Hala Kuwait Meet & Assist services, including transfer assistance from the arrival gate through transfer desk formalities and onward assistance to the departure boarding gate.
Meet & Assist Plus may also include Pearl Lounge access, where available. Pearl Lounge facilities listed by Kuwait International Airport include comfortable seating, children’s play area, showers, charging facilities, wireless internet, catering, and smoking rooms.

Rest Before Your Flight
If your connection time is short, remain inside the terminal, monitor your flight status, and proceed to your boarding gate on time. Kuwait International Airport advises passengers with shorter transit times to use the airport for rest, shopping, meals, or lounges.
Things to Avoid
Please avoid the following during your transfer:
Do not follow signs to Arrivals unless you intend to enter Kuwait and you meet the immigration and visa requirements.
Do not leave the transit area without confirming whether you need a visa or entry approval.
Do not ignore your boarding time or gate closing time.
Do not carry prohibited or restricted items in your hand baggage.
Do not leave your baggage unattended.
Do not accept bags, parcels, or items from other passengers.
Do not use mobile phones, cameras, or recording devices in restricted security, immigration, passport control, or customs areas unless permitted by officials.
